ITS Australia are proud to announce the winners of this year's 2011 Awards     National ITS Australia Award Presented to Transport Certification Australia for the National Telematics Framework and the application of the IAP in the Toowoomba to Port of Brisbane corridor which was implemented in cooperation with the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Queensland. Lifetime Achievement Award ITS Australia also recognised Traffic Engineer and ITS technology researcher and developer, Peter Lowrie with the Dr Max Lay Award for Lifetime Achievement  and also recognised the legacy of Arthur Sims in developing the Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS).
