The Planning and Transport Research Centre (PATREC) is a unique 'collaborative knowledge network' of four universities. Based in Perth Western Australia and established in May 2003, it offers high quality post-graduate education and research programs in transport and logistics.

The Transport Systems Centre

The Transport Systems Centre at the University of South Australia was one of the first two "University Funded Centres" to be established within the University of South Australia, and is the pre-eminent centre within the University for research, post graduate education and professional training in transport systems and logistics.

The Australian Centre for Integrated Freight Systems Management

The Australian Centre for Integrated Freight Systems Management at Melbourne University Private provides an 'integrating' perspective, a high level research capability and teaching and executive development programs, which can be of assistance to proactive managers, corporate executives, planners and decision-makers as they seek to deal more effectively with pressing industry issues

Extended Enterprise and logistics Research Centre

Curtin University of Technology have established a University-Industry Research Centre on Extended Enterprise and Logistics (UniIndustry EXEL) to innovatively promote the combined, ongoing research and development work being undertaken in Western Australia and the Eastern States in the field of logistics and supply chain.

The ILSCM Knowledge Centre at Victoria University

The effective use of knowledge is perhaps the most powerful of all the weapons. The right knowledge in the right hands is a formidable combination. The ILSCM Knowledge Centre sets out to make extensive knowledge readily available - to practising logisticians, policymakers, researchers, students, government, private sector interests and is your window to an extensive collection of resource materials related to Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The CSIRO ASN Research Team

At the CSIRO, the Adaptive Supply Network (ASN) team is developing new adaptive logistics methodologies: an initial target being an intelligent freight application which shows advantages of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to freight shippers and which relates shipper fuel savings to GHG impacts. The overall aim is to assess the economic and greenhouse gas impacts of future logistics operations management systems.

Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies

The primary object of the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies at the University of Sydney is to undertake graduate teaching, management development programs, grant and contract research and development in the fields of transport and logistics studies.
