Over 100 Australian ITS industry representatives will be attending the 25th ITS World Congress being held in Copenhagen, Denmark showcasing the fantastic Australian intelligent transport systems concepts, trials, programs, and products with the international audience through exhibition, presentations, and demonstrations.
Dean Zabrieszach, President ITS Australia and Susan Harris, CEO ITS Australia will be attending the Congress to participate in ITS Asia Pacific Board Meetings as well as engage with other global ITS organisations and leaders to further develop cooperative relationships and represent the Australian ITS industry.
ITS Australia Ambassador (and Immediate Past President), Brian Negus will also be attending and meeting with ITS leaders from around the globe to continue to learn about what is taking place overseas.
The ITS Australia VIP Cocktail Function on Monday 17th welcomed Ambassador Mary Ellen Miller, Australian Ambassador to Denmark addressed the attending guests which included Jacob Bangsgaard, CEO, ERTICO, and Shailen Bhatt, President and CEO, ITS of America. ITS Australia has received support from AIMES (Australian Integrated Multimodal EcoSystem) and National Transport Commission.
ITS Australia will host the Australia Pavilion which will provide the ideal opportunity for the Australian ITS industry to come together, discuss and make the necessary contacts to move initiatives forward locally and internationally by exhibiting and demonstrating state of the art ITS solutions.
The co-exhibitors on the Australia Pavilion include ATC Braums; Austrade – Start-up delegation; Cohda Wireless; Data61 | CSIRO; Micro Connect; SAGE Automation together with Department of Planning Transport and Infrastructure, South Australia; and ITS Australia.
