National electronic Tolling and Charging 2019 Brisbane

The National electronic Tolling and Charging conference is over and was another success. Speaker presentations will be available shortly to members on the ITS Australia Knowledge Centre.

Looking forward, plans for next year’s NeTC are already well underway with the conference being incorporated as a dedicated Conference and Abstract stream in the 17th ITS Asia Pacific Forum 2020, which ITS Australia will host in May 2020 in Brisbane. The ITS Asia Pacific 2020 Call for Papers is NOW OPEN – and we encourage you to consider a submission for a speaking spot.

Australia continues to be a world leader in tolling and has undertaken considerable work on new models of transport pricing across the road network. The business opportunities are impossible to predict, but demand for infrastructure and software to support a growth in demand for trips creates opportunities for business as well as for government.

Attendees at the National electronic Tolling and Charging (NeTC) conference will explore the trends and technologies driving new business sales opportunities. NeTC is the must-attend event on the calendar to stay up to date with these important discussions and to meet all the key players under the same roof. This event is not open to the public or media.

Why are these industry leaders attending?

As Transurban, we get a lot of value from events like the NeTC Conference. The sessions help us understand what the ITS industry is focussed on and we get to share what we’re working on at Transurban. It’s a great couple of days allowing us to network with fellow participants and share insights and challenges across the industry. Transurban

As a market leader in ETC technology, we want to play a major part in shaping the industry as well as the opportunity to learn from our customers. Although a regional forum, we wish to bring our global expertise and share our domain knowledge to the rest of the industry. Kapsch TrafficCom Australia

The world around is rapidly changing. For Q-Free to continue to thrive as a technology leader and as a disruptor in many new areas for the next decades, we need to look ahead, understand the trends and markets that will shape the tolling and ITS business in the future and be prepared for what is to come. Q-Free Australia

NeTC is the main event in Australia’s tolling sector, a place where all the key sector players meet. It is a great opportunity for SICE to network with other key companies and public agencies and discuss what the next step in tolling is. SICE
