Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland
CARRS-Q was established in 1996 as a joint venture initiative of the Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to address the enormous human, economic and social costs resulting from road crashes. One of our teams investigate road safety benefits and human factors aspects of future Intelligent Transport Systems technologies. This includes the design, use and assessment of information systems and technologies in vehicles. It further includes the simulation, real-world impact and cost-benefit analysis of such systems and technologies.
